Orange Slice Drawing Practice

I finished this drawing a while ago, figured I should log it. It took me about 15 hours to start to understand the lesson here, and then 20 hours total to complete. The result still seems very crude to me, but it’s a start! Looking forward to my next drawing…

Update (10/7/2024): The original for this drawing was dedicated in memory of my late friend, Steve Zapata, and given to his mother. With his passing, it dawned on me how important it is to share our artwork and pass on our creativity. His encouragement won’t be forgotten as I continue on my own journey with those of us still here.
